Valentine time

Yay, we made it through January! February has started off on a cold note but we have greeting cards with enough sentiment to warm anyone's heart, the selection is best right now so stop by and peruse our card bins.

And while you're here be sure to "have a heart" - an origami heart that is! Donate one dollar for a hand folded origami heart and we'll match and send proceeds to Food For Free, bridging the gap between waste and want since 1981, right here in Cambridge.   Check out their mission at FOODFORFREE.org

How about a fresh puzzle for these wintery days? We are receiving new merchandise daily as we get organized and freshened after the holiday daze. A new coat of paint and some beautiful imagery make our Boston store windows sparkle.

Now's the time to start considering Valentine's Day plans, we have such a great selection of greeting cards out now. Something for everyone - those you love, like, like to humor and cheer up. Come by early for an amazing selection and some inspiration!

A New Year...

Let's fill it with hope! This image is from the International Rescue Committee site, where I just sent our contribution from our folding project this month. Our generous Black Ink customers donated 315.00 and Black Ink matched that to send 630.00 to help refugees survive, recover and rebuild their lives.

This is a challenging time for many, and I thank you for opening your hearts to help others. Every holiday season at Black Ink (since 1994!) I've enjoyed celebrating with OUR community, coming together and celebrating what is cherished and has grown to be a tradition for many. Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm.

Peace,

Susan and family
