Spring Days


Congratulations to all the Grads and Dads out there as we welcome the feeling of Spring at last! 

Thank you to all our generous customers who donated to our recent origami folding project benefiting The Children's Room in Arlington, Massachusetts. We collected $215.00 in our stores and matched that for a donation of $430.00. The Children's Room offers hope and healing to grieving children and teens (3 1/2 to 18 years old) who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling, get more information about their mission at

Shop at participating local businesses and have your card stamped, after you have visited six participating businesses drop your stamped card off for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate at your favorite local store!

Hard to believe it's been a quarter of a century since we first opened the door at 101 Charles Street. Thank you to the Beacon Hill community for supporting our dreams and to the MANY talented Black Ink staff members who contributed their hard work, talent and sense of humor over the years! It's been a truly collaborative effort between our Inky family and the amazing artists, craftspeople and vendors whose products bring joy and "unexpected necessities" to our many dedicated customers.

Thanks to our generous Black Ink community who donated to our folding project benefiting Food for Free of Cambridge. We collected $250.00 in our stores and Black Ink will match that to send a $500.00 donation to Food for Free! Thank you, thank you.
